Clearing the Browser Tabs – TGI Friday Edition Posted: 22 Apr 2011 03:10 AM PDT It’s been a busy week, hasn’t it? Between by full-time job, The Shack, The Delivery, and a couple side projects on which I’m working, I’m more than ready for the weekend. All the big stories are in the links. Don’t be surprised if I grab one or two of them to write about a bit more throughout the weekend. And now, links! Remember the old “duck and cover” drills of the 1950s? Well, they’re back! In a related story, the Eco-Cultists are calling for us to perform “a billion acts” of penance for our sins against Mother Gaia. I’m not quite sure how using the Federal government to harm a private business on the behalf of the party in power’s campaign contributors is legal, but I’m sure the administration will have a rationale. Even the former director of the agency in question is aghast. What is it about high-profile, twenty-something progressive writers that makes them so impervious to knowledge of how the world works?
