Clearing the Browser Tabs – Where Did I Go Just Now Thursday Edition Posted: 09 Jun 2011 03:10 AM PDT Okay, so that time away from the computer turned out to take a couple few hours longer than I suspected. Everything went well and both the car and I survived the organ-boiling heat (let me tell you…6 hours, give or take, in a car with no A/C is not even a little bit of fun). I’ll get the podcast post up a bit later this morning, once I dig out from the small pile of work that accrued because I took yesterday off. No rest for the wicked they say, but that’s okay, because this wicked man has things to do. Evil plans, you see. And now, links! It looks like Harry Reid’s grand plan not to pass another budget again as long as he’s running the majority is running into some political reality. Guess who wants to opt out of Social Security? Pretty much everyone under the age of 55 on whose backs the Democrats want to prop things up until they retire from office so they can hand the big mess to others. So a British soccer team will fire its mascot because she posed for a professional lingerie shoot but the Democrats won’t boot out a guy who sent around a few crotch pictures? Well, okay. Finally those hours of reading Manga comics won’t go to waste! Relax. The sun isn’t going to kill us. Well, not this week, anyway.
