Clearing the Browser Tabs – Finding a New MSM Monday Edition Posted: 06 Jun 2011 03:10 AM PDT Do we really want to spend the next two years living in an America where the MSM will paint every single criticism of Barack Obama as racism? It looks like we’re headed there on a rocket sled right now and I’m not very sure how we can stop it. NBC is the first and, since they’re essentially the Unofficial White House Television Network, it may be a little while before other media outlets follow suit. I have no doubt that they will, though, unless we find some way of making very sure they know that if they go down that road, there will be no coming back for them. At some point, America will have to wash its hands of the partisan, biased, often dishonest MSM and find its trusted news sources among the New Media. I hope that happens sooner rather than later. And now, links! Mark Steyn (via Pundette) has the right of the entire #WeinerGate story. The real issue is the devolution of our culture, to the point where the execrable Weiner can make a raunchy joke, in public, to a female journalist without fear of being upbraided. I hope he gets what’s coming to him, good and hard. Is nothing that goes wrong in America ever Barack Obama’s fault? In a perfect world, we’d listen to Andrew McCarthy and kill Medicare altogether. Scratch a progressive, find an anti-Semite. If you want to immediately jump start out economy, just get the government regulatory boot off its throat. It’s that simple and every GOP candidate should be preaching that message. Stacy McCain went back to his journalistic roots and covered a baseball game. Well, okay, he took a little #WeinerGate break, but all things serve the blog, no? You’d think I would be more interested in comic books, since I’m a dyed-in-the-wool geek and all. I’m not, though, and this article on the poor X-Men goes a long way toward explaining why. I am no fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins but I am very glad to see that Evgeni Malkin is coming back from a very bad injury ahead of schedule. I want him back at full health when the Capitals sweep the season series again.
