Clearing the Browser Tabs – Strategery Saturday Edition Posted: 04 Jun 2011 03:10 AM PDT Nothing pithy this morning, just a ton of good links for you. To be honest, I’m feeling the Blogging Blahs of late. I’ve seen a bunch of my friends in New Media get great new jobs and others get big traffic boosts and I admit I’ve been feeling a lot like the career minor-league who is slowly coming to realize that he just might not get the call to The Show after all. I also have an Evil Plan or two (as I may have mentioned on the podcast, about which I’m still ridiculously excited) and I’m not entirely sure that blogging as I’ve been doing it for the past few years works well with what I really want to do. So if I cut back on writing here a bit, especially about politics, while I work on a couple things behind the scenes, don’t worry. I’m still trying to figure out how to make all the things I want to do online — blogging, podcasting, working the Twitter like Sugar Ray Leonard worked a speed bag, and [redacted] — in a way that makes me happy and delivers my very best to you (and people who should be reading what I have far more often) not just once in a while but every day. And now, links! Yeah, those Castro Brothers are a couple of real peaches, aren’t they? Dan Collins: “Things Fall Apart” Jim Pethokoukis says we ought to ignore what Moody’s says about the debt ceiling. I find his arguments persuasive. I’ve often said that the left isn’t opposed to church and state co-mingling per se, so long as its religion is the only one involved. Yes, the GM bailout really was a bad idea, no matter what the administration says. Wow. The people who want to ban circumcision in  San Francisco aren’t even trying to hide their anti-Semitism. When I wrote about John Guardiano’s snooty dismissal of Herman Cain last month, my friend Stacy suggested that he wasn’t quite as annoyingly smug as I said he was. Well, guess who broke out the whupping stick on Guardiano today? R.I.P. James Arness. We’ve lost another great one.
