Like Huey and the Boys, All I Want Is A Couple Days Off Posted: 26 Oct 2011 11:45 AM PDT Guys, I’m exhausted. My obligations away from The Shack have become so numerous that I honestly don’t have enough hours in the day to do everything and still get a decent amount of sleep. I’ve been running as fast as I can for about a month now and I’m gassed. Obviously I can’t continue this way. Things have gotten so bad that it took me three hours the other night to write a post at Ending Spending that normally would have taken me less than an hour. The ol’ brain just isn’t working like it should. So, I’m going to take a bit of a blogging break for the next few days. I’ll still write a few times a week at Ending Spending and I won’t miss an episode of The Delivery. I also have a couple upcoming appearances elsewhere this week I’ll keep and some housekeeping and organizational tasks I’ve put off for far too long. Okay, that doesn’t exactly sound like much of a mental vacation but, trust me, it is. Expect scattered posting for the next few days (I know, I know. This time it’s planned!) with not much focus on any particular subject. I do have a couple posts in the pipeline I want to finish over the next couple days, but I’m not going to rush them out. Keep your RSS readers and Twitter timelines pointed in my direction and you’ll catch what I write. I’ll be back to a more reliable pace in a few days once I’ve caught up on some much-needed rest.
