Clearing the Browser Tabs – CPAC Preview Friday Edition

Posted: 04 Feb 2011 03:10 AM PST

I spent the better part of last evening working on a revision to a post I wrote last year called “The Rookie’s Rough Guide to CPAC”. I had intended for it to go live last night, but it needed a lot more editing time than I could give it. So, it’s going to hit the site today, hopefully by mid-afternoon. Sometimes, writing isn’t as easy as it seems and some posts don’t want to come together as smoothly as I’d like them to. I will have something good for you, though, so don’t you worry. It’ll be worth the wait!

And now, links!

  • We should never forget to whom the President outsourced the writing of the Vote Buying Act Stimulus Bill. If there’s a way to do it, I’d like the Republicans to actually start calling it the Nancy Pelosi Stimulus Failure Act.
  • Draconian? Why, I don’t even think they know what that word means.
  • Why, exactly, are Planned Parenthood clinics so eager to help a pimp get an illegal abortion for his under aged hooker?
  • This is pretty amazing. A District Court judge found the Obama administration in contempt of court for deliberately disobeying his order to lift the offshore drilling ban. It seems a pretty big deal to me that our President has intentionally violated a lawful court order. I would think it would be a big deal to the MSM. Then again, this President isn’t a Republican, so who knows?
  • Should we replace the venerable and useful Pi with the apparently more useful Tau? This guy thinks we should and he wrote a book to explain why. To be perfectly honest, his interview doesn’t make me want to read his book. It does, however, make me want to give him a twirling wedgie.
