Not only do I refuse to shed a tear for the death of Osama bin Laden, but I gave a couple extra fist-pumps into the air because of it. The United States of America — and have no illusions here, the killing was done in your name and mine — put down a vicious dog of a human being who very much needed to be put down. I will never mourn the righteous killing of a monster. On the contrary, I will celebrate it and enjoy a very deep belly laugh that right now he’s working his way through the digestive systems of all manner of aquatic life. And if this German judge doesn’t like that, he can go pound sand. And now, links! No cabinet secretary should ever, ever be allowed to say that over half the country wants to kill senior citizens without dire consequence. Of course, she will suffer no consequences. This administration is far more interested in scoring cheap political points than it is in reviving the economy or bringing down gas prices. If you’re looking for a couple very good documentaries at an excellent price, Little Miss Attila has quite a deal for you. Stephen Kruiser is a very, very funny man. If the world was just, he’d be on our television a lot more and quite a few unfunny hacks who know how to stroke progressive Hollywood and New York City egos would be there a lot less. She’s my Mom and I love her, without reservation and until the very end. I’d run through a wall headfirst for her. She spent countless hours, and irreplaceable chunks of her live molding an precocious, daydreaming, brilliant nerdy kid into the man I am today. I can’t repay her for her relentless and powerful love nor would I even pretend to know how to begin. I love you, Mom. Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful Moms out there who do every day for their kids what my Mom did for me. And now, links! Just a conservative girl has a song for her Mama. Okay, it’s Boyz 2 Men, but we don’t judge here today. Alberto de la Cruz at Babalú found a very touching tribute to a Cuban mother and drillanwr payed tribute to the mother of a hero. George Moneo is about to fire up the grill for a whole host of mothers! Sister Toldjah’s Mom is every bit as pretty as she. It’s not hard to see from whence her loveliness came! Doug Powers, writing at Michelle’s place, has a few good historical links, plus the obligatory note that the abortion mill known as Planned Parenthood has decided Mother’s Day is a fine time to go on a fund raising jag. Dana Loesch is right; motherhood is political. It is no coincidence that mothers have gotten increasingly involved in grassroots politics as the left has pushed the country closer to economic ruin.
