The Delivery Presents – Rob Long and A Bonus Delivery! Posted: 17 Mar 2011 06:00 AM PDT It’s taken a little bit of time, but I think Episode 82 is the week when the show really started to hit its stride. I’ve gotten very comfortable behind the mic, I had a fantastic guest in Rob Long with whom I could just chat and things political and Hollywood, and the live chatroom was hopping! Now, all I have to do is keep building on the goodness of this week’s show, and throw in a few little bonuses along the way. Before long, we’ll have ourselves a juggernaut! And speaking of bonuses, I’m going to record an extra show Friday evening at 8 PM Eastern. As I explain in this week’s show, I’ve been toying with a second show during the week. The problem, as you might imagine, is that I often don’t have enough free time to regularly devote to another weekly episode. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t experiment a bit and see just how much extra time a second show will take. So consider the special show Friday the first of what I’m sure will be a few experiments in time management. I’ve booked a return guest, Kurt Schlichter of Andrew Breitbart’s “Big” network of sites and a friend of mine from Twitter. You’ll like him, I know. The live camera and chatroom will be in full effect on Friday (did I mention 8 PM Eastern?) and I’d love to have a good crowd in there. The Delivery - Episode 82

Clearing the Browser Tabs – A Very Iowahawk Thursday Edition Posted: 17 Mar 2011 03:10 AM PDT Before I get to all the juicy links, let me apologize for the lack of a podcast post yesterday. It didn’t hit the web and iTunes until late in the day yesterday and I didn’t have enough clear time to write up a post. I have rectified that and the announcement post will hit here and The Delivery’s very own site in a couple hours, so be ready! So that’s that. Now, I had the chance to meet the man behind Iowahawk at CPAC a couple of years ago and I can tell you that he is ever bit as smart and funny as his posts would indicate. This week, he took his game to a level of greatness heretofore unknown to mortal bloggers with two posts that I want to recommend to you today. Please make some time to read them. You will be very glad you did. “Feed Your Family on $10 Billion A Day” “Your Bracket Awaits, Mr. President” And now, (more) links! If you’re a dictator anywhere in the world, take instruction from Libya. The shorter version would be: Go ahead and do whatever you want. America surely won’t do a darned thing to stop you. There is a new Trifecta. The subject this week is the wasteland that is the state of Michigan. Anytime Moe Lane finds a reason to use the phrase “shifty little weasel”, it demands our attention. He uses the phrase accurately in this case. He could also have said “arrogant little twerp” and been equally accurate. How much does it cost to have a train station named after you? I don’t know. How many millions of our dollars has Joe Biden dumped down the rat hole called Amtrak? Clyde Middleton is generally happy with the 112th Congress, but I share his caution. If you could pick the least-qualified person to lecture us on fiscal responsibility, who would it be? Go on, guess!
